Welcome home to a rustic retreat nestled between the Shenandoah River and GW National Forest. Enjoy this secluded cabin in the woods with all the comforts of home just a short walk from the riverfront. After a long day hiking, fishing or paddling the river, put your feet up at Reel it In Cabin and relax, recharge and soak in the beauty of nature. Enjoy peaceful mountain views and the sound of the river from our expansive deck with private hot tub. Cozy up inside, cook a tasty meal or enjoy a campfire under the stars!

Things to note:
- Dogs are welcome! Sorry, we can't accept cats. The pet fee is $75 per pet and will be added as an extra service fee after your booking is confirmed. Price based on a one to two night stay for up to 2 dogs. If your stay is 3 or more days and/or if you have more than 2 dogs, an additional fee will apply.
- Linens are NOT included. Sheets + towels are available upon request for $30 per set.
- The cabin is stocked with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen trash bags, hand soap and dish soap. We also provide salt, pepper and coffee filters. Blankets + pillows are provided. Please bring your own firewood + charcoal.
- While there is great Starlink WiFi at the cabin, the phone service is not fast enough for video calls/conferencing. Come and unplug!
- A minimum of 3 nights is required when booking during major holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day.

Location
Enjoy the beauty of the Shenandoah River and the serene Page Valley. The cabin is located on the South Fork of the river just 10 miles from Luray Caverns and 20 miles from Shenandoah National Park, less than a 2-hour drive from Washington, DC with easy access to Interstate Highways 81, 66, 64, 70, and 95.
Walk out the front door and hike in GW National Forest or swim, fish, tube, canoe or kayak on the Shenandoah River. Our family canoe business is just a 5-minute drive away. Drive less than 20 minutes to explore small town shops, antiques, restaurants and breweries in Luray. Plan a visit to the caverns, zoo or civil war museum or book a ziplining or horseback riding adventure. Spend the day hiking or driving the scenic overlooks in Shenandoah Nat’l Park and then come back and soak in the hot tub under the stars.
The cabin is easily accessible by car in mild to moderate weather, 4WD is recommended during winter months. The last few miles to the cabin are well maintained gravel roads. There is a private gravel driveway with ample parking.

Angela and Christian Goebel are Shenandoah Valley locals and co-owners of the Shenandoah River Outfitters. They raised 4 children on the river and now have the joy of sharing the beauty and adventure with their grandkids. They have enjoyed hosting people from all over the world for the past decade. They love the outdoors, family time, and traveling. They are a family of faith who are very involved with their local church and missions.
